# Process Overview

> The quarterly performance process—reviews, calibration, and delivery of results—and how it connects the philosophy and framework.

The performance process runs **every quarter**. It turns the [Framework](/framework/overview) ([scorecards](/framework/scorecards), [Talent Bar](/framework/talent-bar), [grades](/framework/performance-grades)) into **decisions and [outcomes](/process/outcomes)** that support our [Talent Philosophy](/philosophy/talent-philosophy).

## Why quarterly

A quarterly cadence ensures:

* **Fast recognition** of strong performance
* **Fast correction** of underperformance
* **Credible, consistent** outcomes—not a once-a-year surprise

## The three steps
